New Board Member Joins MAJ

The Board of Governors of the Maryland Association for Justice (MAJ) is proud to introduce Annie B. Hirsch as the association's newest member of the board of governors.



Ms. Hirsch (Wais, Vogelstein & Arfaa, LLC, Baltimore) earned her bachelor's degree in political science from the University of Wisconsin in 2001. In 2004, Ms. Hirsch earned her juris doctorate degree, with a focus in healthcare law, from the University of Maryland. For the first four years of her career she worked for a small boutique personal injury and medical malpractice firm where she handled multi-million dollar claims ranging from severe birth injuries to wrongful death. In 2009, Ms. Hirsch opened the doors to her solo practice where she continued to handle substantial medical malpractice claims behalf of her clients. Ms. Hirsch joined Wais, Vogelstein & Arfaa in 2013.

Ms. Hirsch is admitted to practice law in all Maryland State Courts, as well as the United States District Courts for the District of Maryland, the District of Columbia and the United States Supreme Court. She is an active member of the Maryland Association for Justice where she currently acts as the Chair of the Directory Committee, and an author/editor/member of the "Trial Reporter" committee. Ms. Hirsch is also a member of the Maryland State Bar Association and the American Association for Justice. In 2012 Ms. Hirsch became a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum which recognizes attorneys who have obtained verdicts of at least one million dollars. In the spring of 2013, Ms. Hirsch was selected as a Maryland Superlawyers Rising Star and a DC Superlawyers Rising Star.
